Wall Street closes at multi-year highs

News from Europe has fueled sentiment on Tuesday and the US stocks market have closed higher the day. More M&A deals has spurred DJIA and S&P to 5 years highs and the Nasdaq to 12-year maximum.

The Dow Jones advanced 53.91 points or 0.93% to finish the day at 14,035.67. The S&P 500 added 11.15 points or 0.73% to 1,530.94. And the Nasdaq Composite gained 21.56 points or 0.68% to 3,213.59.

Session Recap: Pound under pressure, Euro alive

Two stories on Tuesday. First, the Sterling being pressured on UK rating downgrade rumors and second, the good data in the German ZEW which push the Euro to trade at intra-week highs. Stocks trade at 5-year highs and risk appetite was buoyant.
