USD/JPY falls to 6-week low
FXstreet.com (Córdoba) - The USD/JPY came under strong pressure and broke below the 97.80 area amid broad USD weakness during the American session.
USD/JPY back below 98.00
The USD/JPY weakened further and fell to a fresh 6-week low of 97.50 before finding support and bouncing slightly. At time of writing, the pair is trading at the 97.75 zone, where it records a 0.5% loss on the day.
USD/JPY supports and resistances
The USD/JPY holds a bearish tone in 4-hour charts according to Valeria Bednarik, chief analyst at FXstreet.com, who locates immediate supports at 97.50 and 97.20. On the other hand, the analyst sees next resistance levels at 98.45, 98.80 and then at 99.20.
