US stocks closed mixed after trimming early losses

FXStreet (San Francisco) - Wall Street finished Wednesday's session mixing red and green numbers as the Dow ended mildly lower but the Nasdaq Composite stopped 4-day losing streak.

Renewed concerns on a probable Chinese slowdown and geopolitical tensions in Ukraine are hurting investors’ confidence.

The Dow Jones eased 11.17 points or 0.07% to finish the day at 16,340.08; the S&P 500 added 0.57 pts or 0.03% to 1,868.20; and the Nasdaq Composite advanced 16.15 pts or 0.37% to end the session at 4,323.33.
